A warm welcome but chilly nights

I recently spent a night in Johnson City and found my stay enjoyable, especially the indoor pool, which was clean and perfect for unwinding after a busy day. The queen room was spacious and well-kept, and the hotel's location made accessing nearby restaurants and shops a breeze. However, I would have appreciated more seating options in the common areas.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning struggled to cool properly and there were musty smells in my room.

Unfortunately, our experience was marred by some crude realities. An unattended medication left on the floor posed a potential hazard to my toddler, clearly indicating a lack of proper cleaning in the room. To make matters worse, we faced an inadequate night's sleep due to noise outside, fueled by a loud bikers convention that reverberated through the parking lot until the early hours. This stay, intended as a reprieve during travel, became a disheartening experience with little to no rest.

The staff seemed a bit indifferent during check-in. I arrived to find that the front desk attendant didn't greet me at all. I had checked in using the app, and there seemed to be confusion about my reservation. After providing my confirmation, the attendant finally acknowledged me, but it was a frustrating experience. The room had a few nice touches, but I noticed a musty smell upon entering. The bathroom cleanliness was a concern. I found stains on the toilet seat. The location was prime for my needs, and housekeeping did a decent job during my stay. they were respectful and brought extra towels when requested. The late-night biker noise from outside made it tough to sleep, which was disappointing. The pillows were comfy, but the bed was a bit too firm for my liking. I enjoyed the proximity to local restaurants and shops, which made dining out convenient. The indoor pool looked nice, but I didn't get a chance to use it. Overall, the potential is there, but staff service and room maintenance need improvement.
